Perricoota is close the Victorian border, 800km south west of Sydney, and is centred on the towns of Moama and Echuca. The first vineyards were unsuccessfully planted in the region in the 1860s. Then, in the 1990s, new vineyards were developed but to date still remains one of NSW’ smallest regions being best known for Shiraz.
Perricoota Grape Growers Association release a Chardonnay and Shiraz under their collective “Collexion” label to promote the region.
