Sommelier Wine List Awards

Entries are open for the 2026 NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards

NSW Wine is thrilled to have been hosting the NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards since 2019.

The NSW Sommelier Wine List Awards are dedicated to supporting and rewarding restaurants, wine bars, pubs, clubs and hotels in Sydney and regional NSW that are true #NSWWineStars - offering their customers a great wine experience and a range of delicious local wines that showcase the quality and diversity of wines being produced in our state.

NSW Wine wants to see to more local wines listed on wine lists across the state, and these awards are an incredibly important part of our year that brings together our wineries, with the people selling there wines day after day.

Venues that enter the awards are assessed using criteria including wine list content, presentation, educational content, selection, food and wine matching, service and NSW wine representation.

Last year’s winner Daniele Campo from BTWN at W Sydney (pictured below) showcased a wine list that perfectly captured the spirit of the awards, thoughtful, diverse and proudly supportive of NSW wine. By weaving local producers alongside international favourites, the list encouraged diners to explore the incredible range of wines being produced across the state.
