NSW Department of Primary Industry in collaboration with NSW Wine Industry Association would like to invite you to attend the 2022 Riesling Royale Masterclass on Wednesday, 18th May at the QT Hotel Canberra, 8.30AM for a 9.00AM start.

Summary: Industry experts dissect Riesling, accompanied by three separate tasting panels of 24 Rieslings
Cost: $88 per person (including GST)
Led by Phil Reedman MW, this masterclass will dissect Riesling as we know it in Australia today. Industry experts will present on its heritage and history, current markets, and opportunities.
Hear from viticulturist and researchers from Australia and Germany on clonal selection, management practices and styles and composition of Riesling wines. Pick up the tips and tricks from the vineyard to the winery to put into your next Riesling wine.
Plus, three separate tasting panels of 24 Riesling labelled wines including some of Australia's best offerings. Each panel session includes feedback from some of Australia's best winemakers including; Jacob Stein (Robert Stein) Louisa Rose (Pewsey Vale), Ken Helm (Ken Helm Wines), Samantha Connew (Stargazer), Nick O'Leary (Nick O'Leary Wines) and more.

All event funding raised will be gifted by NSWDPI to NSWWIA for various industry grants, scholarships, and future events.

Are you a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia or are you looking to go for certification this year? Then you need training!
Note: When booking a ticket please select if you are interested in Viticulture practices, Winery practices or Wine Business practices.
Training covers all the necessary elements of the program including the processes and plans required to pass an audit. Trainees are provided with a set of customisable templates and resources to support the preparation and maintenance of the program.

Summary: Mandatory Sustainable Winegrowing Australia Certification Training for businesses to become certified under the Sustainable Winegrowing Australia program
Cost: $150 per person (including GST)
Training covers all the necessary elements of the program including the processes and plans required to pass an audit. Trainees are provided with a set of customisable templates and resources to support the preparation and maintenance of the program.
Once training is complete and all the necessary processes and records are collated, the business can arrange for an audit.
