Thank you to Brian Simpson

Thank you to Brian Simpson

The NSWWIA would like to acknowledge and congratulate Brian Simpson, who at the end of December 2021, finished up his role as CEO of the Wine Grapes Marketing Board in the Riverina.

Brian has been in this role since June 2000 and has seen the changes over the years from a very large number of smaller growers to a much more concentrated industry.

Brian has also played a strong role on the NSW Wine Industry Association, playing a shadow role to the board representatives on the NSWWIA, Bruno Brombal and now Bruno Altin.

Brian represented both the grape growers and the Riverina region with pride and passion. Brian was particularly proud in the last years with his work on the Code of Conduct Committee. Brian was also on the Griffith City Council since September 2016.

We wish Brian all the best for the next chapter in his life and thank him on behalf of the NSW Wine Industry Association for his long period of contribution.
