The next set of 15 NSW Wine Sydney WSET Scholarships are now open for expressions of interest for Greater Sydney applicants.

There is quite a tight deadline (before 24 Feb) for successful candidates so if you are or know anyone working within the Sydney On or Off Premise drinks trades that would like to further their wine knowledge, please apply for this great opportunity as soon as possible.

Scholarship Details:

The NSW Wine WSET Scholarship program is part of the MOU between the NSW Wine Industry and the NSW Government. NSW Wine recognises that education and training is key to career and industry development - and also sharing the stories and quality of our wines - so under this initiative we are offering 15 full scholarships for the 2023 season, for The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) training programs at The Sydney Wine Academy at TAFE NSW.

NSW Wine is also working with TAFE to include exclusive NSW wines tastings within these courses.

Eligibility

The 15 scholarships (ten for the WSET Level 2 Awards in Wines course and five for the WSET Level 3 Awards in Wines course) are open to anyone working within the On and Off Premise drinks trades, who can travel to TAFE NSW Ryde or TAFE NSW Ultimo during their 2023 sessions.

Please note, in a few weeks NSW Wine will also open another set of WSET Scholarships, this time for Regional NSW applicants who are working within the trade, hospitality and winery cellar doors. Watch this space!
